Grippy Thing

Sometimes a bead has a smaller than usual hole, sometimes there’s just a snarl of thread and the result is a needle stuck half way through the bead. I’ve tried the technique of pulling at the needle with pliers and realised that more often than not the bead will crack or break. The idea behind a rubber gripper is that you can feel whether the needle will ease through, or whether to back out and drop a needle size, the result? no more broken beads.
