Florence is based on one of my first ever designs, a pair of earrings called Grisaille’s charm. I’ve re-worked the design and added lots more detail, tiny sparkly crystal set rondelles and translucent pearls. I chose colours inspired by vintage china and love how easy to wear these necklaces are. Each beaded bead is worked over a wooden bead and linked to the next with beaded links. The Florence necklace is worked in an easy mix of stitches, Netting and Albion Stitch, and is suitable for intermediate level beaders.
