Inspired by the exquisite textiles and Passementerie I found in a tiny store in Venice, this gorgeous silken pod is easy to construct with simple seams and gathers. It gives delightful shapes to embellish with crystal encrusted beadwork. The result is a light yet intricate linked pendant or decoration, suspended from a dainty chain. The chain is also embellished with beaded links. Worked in a combination of sizes 15 - 8 seed beads with a scattering of Crystal Mesh and 3mm Firepolish crystals.
